Reggie is neutered, adopted him 2 1/2 yrs ago from city dogs. He is 70 lbs, excellent family dog. Can do commands- sit, down, paw and heal. We lived in country setting until recently when I had to move to city. Reggie is not in the least aggressive, but is a reactive. When I first got him, I took him to a dog park. He never displayed aggression, but tried mounting all the dogs. I don't believe he was ever socialized. He is now constantly stimulated by all the dogs in the neighborhood. Barks constantly, has jumped through screen to get out. The neighbors have filed complaints. I have taken him to reactive training, but to know avail. I spent hours behind a screen, getting him to try and focus on me, but he wants so bad to be by others of his kind. He is big, beautiful dog who loves to go for car rides and play with toys. He has a high prey drive and don't think he would do well with cats. Whomeve adopts him must be string, as he will pull on his harness when walking if he sees a dog. He would be best not in a city where he is constantly stimulated by seeing digs or with someone who is able to train him to not be reactive.
