Pistol Pete didn't gain his name from being a lazy Dachshund. This one year old, 13 pound boy can climb a 6 foot fence to get out and then climb back in to quickly Get in your good graces. He is smart�'�|oh my goodness wickedly smart and he is treat motivated. He and his brother were adopted and then the family over time Decided they REALLY did not have the time to devote to these boys. They gave them away and then Critter Cavalry Rescue was contacted to help them find the right And forever home. If you know Dachshunds�'�|.you know they are smart and stubborn and devoted. He wants treats and he will do anything for them which is Why we know he can be housebroken quickly with a treat-oriented program. He loves all people young and old and he is great with other dogs and even CATS! A Dachshund that loves cats�'�|wow! He will jump in your lap when you are not looking and he is nothing short of a pogo stick star with his ability to jump from a Standing position from the floor on to your lap.
