Spot is a six-year-old blue Doberman and came to us from a shelter in northern New Mexico. This gentle giant is such a lover-he just wants to snuggle and be right next to you. He is very unaware of his size and is always trying to climb into his foster mom's lap. He had probably never set foot into a house and therefore is now learning his house manners and getting potty trained. He has mastered the crate with ease and is kept crated when his foster family is either not at home or sleeping. He is a shredder when it comes to his blankets, but what Doberman isn't? Spot loves to steal blankets and towels and take them outside. S He gets along great with female dogs and can play all day with his toys and is always willing to give up his toy to his pesky puppy foster sister, Gia. It took him a while to open up to the other male dog in the house, but now they are buddies and you can see them lounging together on the bed or couch. He is learning the leash and has a tendency to pull right now but with training this will not be an issue. We are working on getting his coat back and putting on some weight; we are thinking he will be about 80 pounds or so.
