About Bam Bam

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi everyone, my name is Bam Bam! My foster mom and dad say I'm adorable, sweet, smart and fun... what more could you want in a puppy?? My foster dad works from home so I spend a lot of my day in the house and the yard wrestling with my really big foster brother, my smaller foster brother, my even smaller foster sister... and sometimes the kitty cat when he's in the mood! I get along really well with all of them and when we're done playing I love curling up in my foster dad's lap and watching TV at night. My foster mom and dad say I'm super smart. I've already learned to sit and we have a doggy door that I use (almost) all the time now... I just forget once in a while but I'm really, really close. Once my sister, Pebbles, got adopted I started sleeping in the bed with my foster mom and dad and can make it through the whole night without using the bathroom. I think that's pretty good! Oh, and I really like my food too, my foster mom and dad laugh at the way I get excited and bounce up and down when they feed me. It may be funny but I'm just so excited I can't help it! Come out and meet me at the adoption center this weekend and see if we're a good fit, I won't be around long! Bam Bam is a Male Vizsla / Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 7/25/18. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
