About Max

Max is a 'Puggle' (pug/beagle) weighing in at about 30 lbs and just over a year old! He needs a fully fenced in yard to keep him safe! He's not much of a barker, but still should not be an apartment dog due to his need for energy release. He is currently being fostered with another dog and a cat and shows appropriate mannerisms with both. He loves toys and to play, play and PLAY! Being a mix of a hound dog and a brachycephalic breed, applicants with experience and understanding of these breeds will be considered first. Puppy experience is highly recommended, as he is still young and is very energetic. We do our best to find the right fit family for each and every pet we take on to prevent inconsistencies in their lives that could potentially cause emotional distress on the fur babies. Max has shown no signs of food or toy aggression and would bode well with another dog with his energy level.
