About Pongo

Pongo is only 1 year old and 7 pounds. He was rescued from a puppy mill where he was starving and wouldn't have lasted much longer. He lived in a filthy crate all his life. He never had a toy or ever felt grass under his feet or got to run in a yard, He never left that crate crammed with 3 other dogs. His crate was never cleaned and he had to live in feces. No human ever touched him. Since he has been here he races in the yard, loves his toys, he has gained weight on a good diet. He has come a long way, He sleeps next to me and lays on the couch in mu lap and sometimes lets me pet him. He is very shy and it scares him to be picked up. He will get there but it will take time and patience. He is such a sweet boy and would love to have a happy life.
