Ollie is a very sweet, gentle and loving, 12-year-old, 32-pound male tri-color Border Collie-mix looking for a loving guardian. Ollie was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky and transported to Chicago to find a home. He is absolutely wonderful with other dogs. He loves walks, and when I brought him to the blessing for animals at a Chicago church he made friends with everyone - humans and dogs alike. Ollie loves to be loved and lets anyone pet him. He just loves humans. He is housebroken, quiet and crate-trained. His eye sight isn't great, but he gets around just fine and can even do stairs. He is quite spry. He is a senior, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm and fecal-tested. He has a grade 4 heart murmur. He had a chest x-ray and his heart is not enlarged, so the vet says he does not require medication. He had a recent dental and had most of his teeth pulled, but he still likes to chew on bones. Ollie's adoption donation of $175 benefits the rescued pets of Pal's Place. To meet and possibly adopt Ollie, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. He is currently being fostered in Chicago.
