About Robert

July 2019: Robert is still that amazing dude that we know and love. He really appreciated his bath and just stood there as cool water was poured over him. June 2019 Update: Robert has accepted shelter life and has gained much needed weight. He is looking much better! He is such a cool guy! He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He is excited to get out of the kennel, but calms down after burning off some energy. By the time I was ready to take his pictures, he insisted on sitting in the shade to cool off. Robert is ready for his furever home! Poor Robert has had a rough life so far! He is terribly skinny, but gaining, has numerous spots on his hind legs and has a cloudy eye. Despite his troubles, he is incredibly friendly! He did great with other dogs, even when the came around him from the blind side. He is not a big fan of cats though. He is gentle taking treats and LOVES food. He does great on a leash and seems to pick up commands pretty quickly!
