About Sabre

Sabre is 8 years old and rescued from humane society 7 years ago for my daughter after her dad died. She has been diagnosed with autism and can not handle the pitch of Sabre barking. We have a bark collar but it still causes my daughter to many problems. We have agonized over this for a very long time and we just want Sabre to be in a home where he can be loved. He is protective and does alert you when someone is at the door. I've never 'trained' him but he does simple commands and he's very cuddly. He will be by your side always. He does fine with other dogs and cats that we have in the home but he prefers to be the only pet. He Is good with older kids but not a fan of small kids. He plays fetch and doesn't require walks but he sure enjoys them. He will eat table scrapes in moderation and requires Nutro brand dog food. I've tried many brands and he just throws them up. I am willing to include whatever dog food I have left, his bark collar, dog bed and all his paperwork. Since he is part shih tzu he does require grooming, I will pay for his first 3 grooming visits if you are willing to take him to his current groomer in Draper.
