About Moxie

Very loving and well behaved pet....a perfect companion for a family or an older person. Housebroken, very gentle and good indoors or out. We took Moxie in when our niece had her first child and she was unable to care for a new baby and Moxie. Moxie is as good a pet as a family could ask for. Her only fault is she does not care for cats! She is fine with our Lab. They are very good with one another and play non-stop when they aren't asleep! Moxie has never shown any signs of aggression with anything other than our cat. She loves kids. We are moving to Washington State and unfortunately they have breed restrictions and we are afraid that if we take her with us we may have to board her or the state may take her from us. We would never consider giving a dog away because they are family but we are moving due to work and can't stand the thought of something happening to Moxie. We are VERY concerned, given her 'pit bull' appearance and build, that she may wind up in a bad situation where she could be hurt or killed. She is as good a dog as you can ask a dog to be and is the perfect pet! The adoption fee request is at the suggestion of the website to weed out anyone who isn't sincere about adopting. All we want for Moxie is a good home where she will be loved and cared for and where she can love her new family!
