About Mousy

Hi, I'm MOUSY, I know that my preview face looks sad, and I am and so is my mommy Becky. We are sad because my mommy has to move to Utah to take care of her mom who is sick. I can't go with her, because her mom is very allergic to cats. I am 4 1/2 years old, completely white with short hair. When I was born, my 'cat mom' had me and other kittens in a Walmart parking lot. I was a recue kitten before, and my mom PROMISED me I would never have to go to the pound and live in a cage and be a recuse cat again. My mom said she was going to type the rest for me so she could talk about me. Mousy is such a good, kick-back, easy-going cat. She just wants to lay by and loves to be petted. All she needs is food and water to be happy, She spends the day lounging around but loves to play. The most special thing about Mousy is why we call her Mousy. We were started to find mice in our garage but nothing worked to get rid of them. So, we decided to get a cat (kitten) and we named her Mousy because that was her job, to rid us of mice. Mousy took her job VERY seriously and we never saw another mouse again or since. She still does her job very well so all critters better stay out of her sight! She has been around kids of all ages and adults and has never bitten them. She has been around our dog all her life and eventually gets along with other dogs. Our HOA very seriously decided that all cats have to stay in the boundries of our properties. WHAT?? Cats are romers and Mousy likes to go outside during the day. How was I ever supposed to keep her only in our yard?? Our dog has a shock collars and I found out they make them for cats too. So even though I hated to put one on her, she adjusted and wears it all the time as you can see in the photos. The BEST thing we decided to do EVER was to get a doggy door for our dog. Mousy is house broken and used a litter box for years but now instead she goes inside and outside whenever she wants. YES!!! I never have to clean a litter box again!!!!!! My heart is broken for her and for me because I must rehome her.
