About Dax

Dax reciprocates love and soaks up affection. He is a 7 year old male boxer mix who weighs 60 lbs. He will make a wonderful companion for someone with a calm, quiet home. Dax is sweet and gentle. He loves to play ball and his favorite place to be is in the water swimming. He walks great on a leash using a gentle leader. He does growl/bark when someone unknown comes to the house. He can also be nervous, which is why he needs a home without small, unpredictable humans so he needs a home without young children. Dax can be homed with another dog, but we would recommend a submissive dog. He has lived with at least one dog for his entire life. He is great with cats and even rabbits!
