About Chomper

Chomper is a super smart 6 year old. He is good with small dogs and kids and loves to play. He is a big boy and enjoys husky play. He isn't really fond of his crate, but he doesn't really have a need for it either since he's so well behaved. Chomper is potty trained and not destructive if left alone in the house. He would do best with a family who is familiar with husky traits and personality quirks. He could use some basic leash training since he gets very excited for his walks and will pull some at first and then settle down for a nice walk. He is an oportunist and will steal the food off counters and plates if left behind. Up to date on shots, fixed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $300 !!!!PLEASE READ!!! If interested in adopting, fill out the adoption application at www.huskyhavenfl.org. Once we receive it, we will start processing it. Please understand we are a volunteer based organization so we can't set a timeline, however, we work hard to process it as fast as we can. It's very important that you fill out the application completely. Missing information will delay the process, especially vet phone numbers, references, and info on pets. All the questions regarding the available pets and their personalities can be found at www.huskyhavenfl.org. Many times we get asked for additional photos. We DO NOT have any additional photos other than the ones posted on our website and we try to be as honest as we can in each pets bio. Please read each bio carefully, all the information that we know is in there. If it's not there we do not know. Additionally, all of our dogs are in foster homes. We DO NOT have a shelter or location. They are in private homes with families. Therefore, you must have an approved application prior to setting up a meet and greet. Finally, thank you for your interest in adoption. Your application is key. Many times, we find you apply for one dog but that one might not be the best fit for your family. We will suggest if another one that is available will be better suited.
