About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya, and I'm a really lovable spayed lab mix! I'm 3 years old and the perfect balance of playful, calm, and cuddly. I'm only 50 pounds, so I'll still fit on your lap for quality snuggles. My favorite places to be are on a walk or cuddled up with my people. I'm learning to sit and do other basic commands. I'm appear house trained! I do well in my crate, but my fosters say I'm such a good girl I don't even need it! I still have plenty of play in me! I do well with cats, dogs, and people about all sizes. I'm curious about cats, but the ones I try to say hi to run! I would make a great addition to any family! Come to Lancaster, PA and meet me! I'm sure it will be love at first sight (especially if you bring treats) We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
