About Zoey

Zoey is a loyal, lovable and intermittently energetic puppy. She's got a clean bill of health from the vet and has all her shots. A healthy 65 lb assumed dutch shepherd mix with a keen sense of smell would be great as a working dog or family addition. She's housebroke and beyond the puppy-chewing phase. She is smart and happy with her long tongue lapping as she seems to smile when she gets attention or a chance to run outside. She naps between bursts of playful energy. Her kennel is her 'house' and when told to go there, she trots inside happily and will nap or sleep quietly all night. She is sometimes kept in her kennel and pen outside at night and during the day or given free reign to play about the yard not wandering off beyond the unfenced yard. She loves to play tug-of-war with rope toys and fetch with tennis balls. She barks only at strangers she sees out the window and accepts people when introduced by her human. She loves to chase squirrels and cats or anything that will give chase.
