About Parker-reduced fee!

Parker is a happy little boy, so smart and loving and ready to follow his nose. He has been having a great time playing with his dog buddies and when he tires of that he is off following a new scent with squeals and bays of delight. He is a very smart boy and learning quickly how to behave a bit more appropriately. His first few months of his life were spent with a family that really did not understand the needs of a very active, smart and determined puppy. So when they gave him up he was a very confused pup. He has come a long way in his foster home with the guidance of not just the people but the other dogs teaching him some boundaries and more appropriate behaviors, and of course he is also maturing. He will still guard his prized items, favorite being paper towels. He is working on 'drop it', but will also need a family to understand how to trade up for his items and not grab out of his mouth. He will mature and learn and reach his full potential with time and the right guidance. But for now Parker is looking for a family that also likes to be active, long walks/hikes would be ideal so he gets the chance to check out some new sniffs! A family without small children is best. Right now he is snuggled behind me and ready for a mid morning nap. A tired dog is a good dog and he has been out romping and sniffing after breakfast. He is just the sweetest, silliest boy that will do well with a busy family, another dog buddy would be great and a fenced yard is a big plus. He is 8 months old and about 23 pounds.
