About Everly (east)

Everly A3375778 Everly is a 6 year old Tan and White, neutered American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He has been at the shelter since July 20, 2018. He is a very high energy guy, and loves to play and splash in the kiddie pool. He gets really excited around other dogs, and will need a strong leader. He is a rough and rowdy guy, and can be a little overbearing with his greetings to other dogs. He was adopted out, but the family did not bring their dog for an intro first. After going home, the other dog and Everly got into a fight, so they brought him back to the shelter. This is why we always STRONGLY suggest that family AND other pet intros be done before a dog is adopted. Everly is now on the euthanasia list. Doesn't really seem fair, but little can be done at this point, unless someone is willing to step up and give him another chance. He loves people, and is very friendly - just really high energy. He would make a wonderful walking/running/hiking buddy. This is the last appeal for Everly. Would you step up and save him? Please?
