What a handsome fella. Jack is a 2 year old heeler/Shepherd mix we are told. He definitely has some Shepherd lineage. He's a handsome and well mannered fella. Jack was shaved this summer so he's still growing out his coat and has a grooming appointment scheduled prior to adoption and will look so handsome! It is not recommended he be shaved again but receive regular grooming to avoid matting. Jack has tested well with all of the dogs of all sizes and loves to play with our dog similar to his size. He also tolerates a really annoying puppy way more than he should. Everyone else has put the pup in his place but not Jack, he just deals with it. He is an AWESOME DOG! We love him to death, he is so perfect! He cat tested wonderfully as well. He has been great with our young children too and takes treats so gently. Literally, we love this dog. He has been such an easy rescue case. Feel free to visit the rescue's facebook page for LOADS of pictures...because he is photogenic. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Intake Date: 29 Sep 18 Age: 1.5 to 2 yrs Weight: 60 lbs Breed: Shepherd mix Status: Owner surrender Compatible with: dogs, cats and children Suitable for: apartment, house with fenced yard Medical/Behavioral Needs: None noted at rescue _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org.
