No What kind of home would be best for me? Dany would love a home that understands her breed and is willing and able to give her the exersice/stimulation she needs. What is my personality like? Dany has the Boxer personality down pat! She wants to be the center of attention at all times and will do her best to stay that way. She is a true love bug and thouroughly enjoys being her silly self. Dany is treat motivated, and listens well so far. She wants to please! She also walks fine on a leash. Dany is dog selective - which means she is okay with certain dogs but not all dogs. She would most likely be happiest as an only dog. We know this girl will be a true treasure for the right Boxer-loving family! How do I act when I first meet new people? Dany loves to meet people. She is a true socoial butterfly. Other tips and tidbits: For Dany, the rescue was a last resort for her due to her not getting along with another dog in the home. Her owner showed up with her at our farm and told staff bluntly he would be taking her out to shoot her if we did not take her. He meant it. We took her. I will let you draw your own conclusions on how you feel about her previous owner. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
