About Lana

This is Lana, a four year old German Shepherd. Lana is a very loving and caring dog for her owner and is very protective of them. We have had lana since she was 8 WEEKS old and she has been a firecracker since the day we got her. She is a very affectionate dog to her owner(s) and cares deeply for them. We are putting Lana up for adoption because we feel that as she has grown into an adult, we can not fulfill her needs and manage the issues we've come to see... Lana is a very loving dog to her owner however, she is not a fan of other dogs whatsoever therefore it is difficult to do anything with her that involves her getting out of the house. She is also not a fan of strangers that come too close, and little kids can make lana nervous which makes her aggressive. Lana has been to socialization classes this past year and has attended obedience courses as well however, I believe she needs someone more dominant and someone who has more time to work with her and fulfill her needs. She is a very high maintenance dog and is a bit needy as well. With our schedules its sad that we do not think we are the right owners for Lana. We want lana to be happy and with someone who can work with her, keep her active and MOST importantly give her all the love she deserves and safety.
