About Clyde

Clyde was surrendered to the local shelter when his family unfortunately had to move away. While at ACCT, Clyde was so afraid that he did end up biting someone during his shelter stay, and had to serve a bite hold. Fast forward almost a month, and he received a time stamp, which is when we noticed him and decided to scoop him up! According to his surrender sheet, he lived with young kids, which we might not necessarily do again given his bossy chi personality, but good to know! It seems he did well in his home, and may have some pain in his hind leg area, which may be the reason he can get snippy at times. We are going to investigate that further. He also seems to prefer women to men, but could do well with either with slower intros. Once Clyde warms up to you, he is sweet as can be. He loves to nibble on your fingers, beg for your food, and LOVES to be chased by other dogs. Clyde would benefit from an owner who has chihuahua experience and will go slow and do things on his terms. He could live with another dog who likes to play!
