MARNIE - A4112801 My name is MARNIE. I am a spayed female, black American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old., and have been at the shelter since Aug 19, 2018. I was really sick when I got here. I was in severe heat distress and sunburned. It took the vet a while to get my temperature down from 107.2. But I'm a tough little girl, and pulled through after some treatment. I am so grateful for saving me, that I just follow around any human seeking attention. I am super affectionate, seeking attention and petting. I take treats very gently, and am even considered dainty when playing. I'm a low energy girl, but that may be because I was so sick - maybe my energy level will come up. I walk good on a leash, so I think I would make a great walking or hiking buddy. I know how to 'sit', and I'm real gentle with everyone. The shelter is at full capacity, and they are starting to euthanise my friends to make room for more. if I don't get adopted this week, I'm probably not gonna make it out of here on all fours. Would you please step up and help a little girl? I promise I'll love you forever. I promise.
