About Buddy

Buddy is a 5-6 yr old male of about 10 lbs. He has been living outside in the elements on his own for two years! Through the high heats of summer and one of our coldest winters on record, little Buddy has found somewhere to hide. Unfortunately, he was left behind by his family when they moved. Little Buddy didn't have the comfort of a nice bed or even the safety of four walls and a roof. Thankfully, the neighbors knew he was out there and left him food and water, but that was all they could do. And by the grace of God, they finally called us when they realized Buddy wasn't walking well. He was taken in immediately for a medical evaluation and was diagnosed with a severely broken leg. He is now recovering and was ordered 6-8 weeks of crate rest. He has another 4-6 weeks to go unless someone is willing to adopt and rehab him. Could that special person be you? Buddy is a sweet boy and a good sport about being crated. He rarely barks! For all he's been through, he's really a happy boy. He's UTD on everything and neutered.
