Doris is a gentle, soft, sensitive and sweet, five-year-old, 50-pound, female Boxer Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian. Doris eats, loves and plays. She's a mellow girl who adores humans despite previous abundant abuse. Found stray in Kentucky, this poor dog was full of BB gun pellets and scars. She walks right up to everyone and gives kisses and tail wags. She is wonderful with other dogs while off leash. She can be a bit leash assertive, while on lead. Doris is very quiet in the home, so she can easily live in an apartment or townhome. She is also housebroken and crate-trained. If you sing to her (no matter how bad your voice is '| she smiles and wags her tail). To meet and possibly adopt delightful Doris, please contact Samantha at [email protected] or 773-615-9864. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. Her adoption fee of $275 benefits Pals Place Rescue Group. She is being fostered in Chicago.
