About Mabel

Mabel is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Mabel is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Mabel is just about a year old and 46 lbs, a beautiful mixed breed girl likely with some Aussie and/or border collie, and husky. She will require an adopter with breed experience. She loves water and walks nicely on lead. She is food-motivated and easily corrected, but can be vocal and bossy. We will not be adopting her to a home with children. She gets along with other dogs, but does need to be fed in a crate, which we recommend for all our dogs. She would also be fine in a home as an only dog, but does require a fenced yard. Mabel is housebroken, was treated for heartworm already, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccines and preventives.
