OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Artie is the name! I'm a handsome 7 week old pup with an old man scruff! Don't let this old man beard mislead you! I'm full of energy when playing with my sister Meera! I have to admit between the two of us, I am more of the follower! My sister tends to lead and gets me in all sorts of mischief! My foster mom tells us 'no' and I listen. I am relaxed and love to snuggle. I keep a safe distance from my fur sibling Buddah, he's a cat�'�|. A big one!!! Potty training�'�| well I am working on it but I make a good effort to potty on my pads or let my foster mommy know when I have to use the restroom. I love my crate; this is where I sleep best unless it's next to my foster mom. I'm very curious, always running around with my nose down seeing what new scents I pick up on. Food, well I love it! I would make a perfect family pup but I'm also a lot like my sister Meera, I'd be happy being the fur King in my new furever home. And I would love if I could find my furever home with my sister Meera, she's my best friend! Don't wait to put in an application for me! Small furry kings like me tend to find their forever homes fast! Artie is a Male Pug/Border Terrier Mix that has an estimated DOB 8/1/18. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
