About Bobbie

BOBBIE the Blue Heeler/TX Cattle dog has been with me a week now and is doing well with supervision. He is fully vetted and micro chipped, He is 47 lbs, 2yrs old and I am teaching him house rules as I believe he was never allowed inside. He is a stray as no one claimed him and he had no collar etc. He sleeps indoors and has not had an accident so far. His loyalty knows no bounds re. listens when called, walk with you on a leash and sits when asked as he likes to get close and will jump on your leg for hugs....my own dogs intimidate him and he was passive at first but now he is more assertive but friendly. He lives to run and play so a safe fenced in yard is a must....He likes to play rough at times with other dogs...would do well with older dogs as he senses their limitations. Older children is better, he is very playful so it might not work with small children...I cannot answer re: cats bc I don't have any. I know he is very active and requires running space , if not re: personality wise will become bored. For instance: I have this wooden statue at the front door he knows if he knocks it down he gets my attention and I let him indoors. He loves to be in the company of humans.
