Meet CALVIN | AVAILABLE! | EMAIL: [email protected] | SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY, PLEASE! ---) This playful 17 month old puppy personality is really starting to show as he gets more comfortable in a calm adult environment. He's learned to love hanging out with his giant (mastiff) foster sis, and Cal is absolutely smitten with his foster mom. He LOVES to cuddle and at 11 pounds, he's the perfect lap size pal. This little guy is also a great listener, responsive to training, and appreciates a treat or two as a thank you for his hard work. After setting her puppy up for failure, Calvin's former owner abandoned him at the shelter last month and asked that he be euthanized. Thankfully the good folks at the shelter saw his potential, accepted him into their care and gave him a second chance. We're happy to have a small part on his road to a fabulous forever future with the right family. Calvin has been a well-behaved little dude while we've had him, and he's learning the in's and out's of home life. He's been good with potty habits and is getting used to crate training. His foster mom thinks he's an easy puppy who just needs some leadership and boundaries. We think Cal will thrive in a child-free home with parents who will guide him along his path through adolescence. A yard would be nice but not required as long as he gets daily physical and mental exercise. He'd probably have fun with another playful dog but also not required if he has fun and engaging adults in his life.
