Got a shadow? Need another? You do?! That's great! I'm Nova and I'd very much like to find a human who I can stick to like velcro. You know, a forever family who really wants me around, some buddies to have and to herd 'til bath do us part. I came all the way from a rural kill-shelter because I just know my forever yard, is out here waiting for me. So you can probably tell based on my devilishly handsome photos up there that I'm a Border Collie mix. That's right; I'm whip-smart, easy to train, eager to learn. I'm great with other dogs, I'm already house trained, and I adore leash walks. Very young children make me nervous, but I'd be a great fit with older, calm, responsible kids. Smart, funny, loyal, athletic, charming, handsome, well-trained- I mean, what more could you ask for in a dog? That's right, I'm perfect. So go ahead and come down to the Waynesboro Petsmart on Saturdays between 10 AM and 2 PM so you can meet me, instantly fall in love, grab a boatload of toys, and take me to our home! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
