About Cola

Meet our latest little cutie Cola! We just love her! She is an 11 week old Chihuahua who currently weighs about 4 pounds. Cola is fearless and funny. She loves playing with the big dogs and sleeping with her foster's older dog, who is also a Chihuahua. In fact, she spends so much time with one or other of her foster's dogs, either playing or sleeping with them, that we know she would very much enjoy another dog in the house to keep her company. She likes nothing better than being by your side or snuggling in your lap. Cola is working on her housebreaking skills and has been doing really well with the puppy pads. She still needs some more training but with a regular routine and a dose of patience we are confident she will get the hang of it. She is not a fan of being put in a play pen but she will settle down after about 10 minutes if you need to contain her activity for a while. Cola is still a puppy and has lots of energy so she needs to be with an active family who can keep up with her. She is still quite small but she is always ready to eat so is gaining weight appropriately for her age and activity level. Cola is good with cats and is fine with dogs up to 50lbs. She knows her name and will come running when you call it. She is just too adorable. Cola went to the vet last week for her first round of shots and she got a clean bill of health. Her subsequent puppy shots are included in her adoption fee as is her spay, which we will schedule with one of our vets when she is old enough.
