Athena was saved from a fast kill small town dog pound. Her ears and long legs make her look like a greyhound, and she is definitely a hound mix of some sort. Athena is young, around a year of age, and weighs around 60 pounds. Athena is a very smart and active dog. She responds well to positive reinforcement. She is a lot of dog and needs an experienced owner. Athena is shy of new people, but warms up quickly with treats. Athena is a happy go lucky, playful dog that loves to chase birds and likes to play with other dogs. Athena is crate trained but may need a little more work with house training. She is fairly well behaved in the house. Athena does need more obedience training and socialization. Athena must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and must have a secure fenced yard to run and play. Athena is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, negative for heartworms, and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Athena has a $100.00 adoption fee. Please contact 2 Many Dogs Rescue for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting this good girl. We do adopt out of state and Athena can be shipped to the northeast via ground transport for a total cost of $450.00 (including adoption fee).
