About Tripp

Adoption Fee: $295
Newfoundland / Mastiff
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tripp 2 years 68 pounds Newfoundland/Mastiff/Lab mix Look at that handsome face! Tripp is a big boy with lots of energy! He came to Illinois from a shelter in Tennessee and has been adjusting to life in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs, however, a home without cats is recommended. He is crate trained and is doing well with house training. Tripp loves to eat, and is motivated by treats, so will be easily trained. He is working on his leash manners. He will pull when he sees small animals or people and dogs he wants to play with. He's just so friendly, he can't help himself! Tripp will need a fenced in yard. He gets along with kids, however Tripp doesn't know how big he is and would best be suited for a home without toddlers. This loving boy craves attention, but doesn't sit still for long as he just wants to play. He also loves to swim! He would love a family that can give him lots of time to play and continue working on his training. Tripp is a special boy!
