About Kisses

A real sweet girl.. Kisses was a stray, then adopted to a man and lady for 7 weeks. They returned her due to a personal issue they didn't want to share with us. They loved her very much, and this was super hard for them. They did write up this bio about her. 'Kisses likes to play tug-of-war with a sock or a soft toy in addition to running after her toys when thrown. She likes to be with her owners (particularly a female) and will follow her female owner everywhere. She likes to be with her owners if they are working in the yard. She will stay nearby off-leash but will wander at times, however, she'll come when she's called. Kisses would do best without small children as she's fragile and light weight. She does bark at males when first introduced (even a male vet) but warms up to them after they pet her. She stays quiet in her crate at bedtime for at least 7 hours. She's a good eater. She'll sit by the door to wait to be taken out to potty (if no doggy door) and gets a treat each time afterwards (she knows where the treats are and runs to the drawer after coming inside). She is doggy door trained as well. She is not an obsessive barker but will bark when someone comes to the door. She knows the words 'no' and 'stay'. She has not shown signs of separation anxiety when leaving her for a day or two at a dog camp. She's only been with other small dogs at the dog camp. She would be happy with another small dog companion to play with during the day as she's very active but takes naps during the day as well. She's sensitive to one's tone-of-voice used. She's a sweet, active, and happy dog'. Kisses adoption fee is set at $250.00 If you are interested in Kisses, PLEASE complete a application. Once an application is received, it will go in that dogs file for review.
