About Sadie

Name: Sadie Sex: Female Breed: Pit mix Age: 4 yrs Weight: 55 lbs Hurricane Harvey brought more than high wind and heavy rains to Tennessee. A cold, wet, thin dog showed up in the woods with a wounded leg. A kind woman and her little girls took her in and helped heal her wounds. Sadie has gotten along well with the other four dogs in the home. She likes to play with the other dogs and chew on toys. She can be a bit bossy with the dogs but with correction she will listen. Sadie loves to snuggle and is a big cuddle bug. She is crate trained and housebroken but she hasn't been left without supervision for more than 2-3 hours. Loud noises and quick movements frighten Sadie. Sadie knows how to sit for a treat, knows stay, come, lie down, crate, off, paw and craves attention. She has been very reliable in her house training and has done well with every adult she has met. She is extremely affectionate. While she loves walks, her favorite things to do are to hang out on the couch and cuddle in the bed with her person. She isn't overly interested in toys, but she loves bones and stuffed animals. She will take her bone and sit in her crate, enjoying it in comfort and privacy.
