About ARLO

Sad to say but we are considering putting our dear dog Arlo down. Her aggression has extended to the baby where she now growl and snaps at him and it's not safe to see if it will escalate. She has went through training but after six months with the trainer he have us our money back and stated he couldn't help us. We have tried calming treats. We went to the Humane Society for help be they labelled her feral and unabpotable. The no kill shelters we contacted stated they dont take surrenders. We have contacted rescue centers and reached out to Facebook groups so for no responses to take her in. If theres anyone out there looking for a great guard. She is actually very loving and cuddly to adults but very protective and possessive so would make a super great guard dog just not for kids and cant be in a home with other large dogs or around large dogs in general. She might do okay if you introduce her to puppies and they grow with her that is how she was able to get along with my other dog but has attacked the other dog unprovoked at times.
