About Buddy

Buddy is one of three dogs but is the only inside dog. He goes outside but mostly remains indoors. Buddy was adopted at about 6 months of age from a family with four small kids and was the only pet of a young couple with no kids for several several years. We found out about his aversion to kids when he bit my 2 year old grandchild when Buddy was about 3 years old. Since that time we have kept him away from children. They recently had a child of their own and we have watched him, hoping that he would tolerate his own baby; however since the baby is now more mobile Buddy is showing signs that he may bite if she gets too close as he has growled a couple of times. While we love him dearly, and he is a very faithful companion who loves to be with his humans, we cannot take the chance that he will cause harm to the baby. He will make an adult only family a wonderful pet and companion in his senior years.
