About Solace

Solace is a Galgo Espanol, NOT a greyhound (there's no option for Galgo here). His fee is a fractional reimbursement of what it cost the charity to rescue him, train him, and care for him while awaiting his forever home. (It costs the rescue several thousand dollars just for initial rescue and rehab costs of each dog, not to mention training and ongoing care.) Solace is a sweet, personable galgo who is highly food motivated and therefore enjoys training to learn new things, and is very responsive to cues. He is generally quiet indoors and can be playful outdoors. He needs a fenced yard with 6 foot tall solid, non climbable non diggable fencing. He is house-trained and knows many cues such as 'sit,' 'lie down,' and so on. We will teach you--as part of your adoption--everything you need to know in order to give him a good life and to enjoy life with him! Solace would like to live within driving distance to Gearhart, Oregon. Also possible may be some areas of Northern California or Washington state.
