OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. My name is May May and my foster Mom says I'm just about the cutest thing she's ever seen! But I didn't always have such a fresh, clean look. My sister and I were found in pretty bad shape and now I'm looking ahead and ready to find my fur-ever family! I'm the kind of pup that loves being with my human and will happily follow you anywhere. I would be happiest with som eone who spent time at home or with puppy friends to keep me company. I have two foster fur siblings and we have a great time hanging out and playing. I love to snuggle, and I sleep quietly in my puppy bed at night - did I mention how much I love to snuggle?? I have also done very well with my little foster sister and race her up and down the stairs every day! I really do have so much love to give and will be your best buddy if you just give me the chance! May May is a wonderful and sweet dog who would prefer to not be alone and instead have a pack to be a part of or someone who would be home with her most of the day. She does well with going out to potty and sleeps quietly in her crate or in her puppy bed in our room at night. If you're looking for a dog that does well with kids, she has been fantastic with our toddler, very calm and they love to snuggle and read books together. May May really does aim to please and would make someone a great companion! May May is a Miniature Poodle / Maltese mix, weighs 10 lbs and is approximately 3 years old. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
