About Moffit

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hello Future Home- my name is Moffit and I am so happy to be an angel. You see I didn't have a great start to life as I was on the streets for a loooong time. I now have a warm bed at night as well as yummy food and treats. My foster mom says I am the perfect guest. I haven't had any accidents at home. Love to go outside for walks and I love treats such as pita chips and cheese. My favorite snack is Stella & Chicken morsels. I am very low maintenance according to foster mom , whatever that means. I love to cuddle and get my tummy rubbed. Foster Mom says she enjoys seeing my ears flap when I walk as she things it looks like I am going to fly! She tickles me all the time! I am missing a few teeth so my tongue cutely hangs out sometimes a little. I was very matted when they found me so I had to get a very short summer cut. My skin has been itchy but Foster Mom have me great meds and a spray. My hair will grow out quickly and cover the pressure calluses I have from being on the street. I have great manners and patiently wait for my meal times Moffit gets along very well with dogs and humans. Her tail is always wagging! She weighs 13 lb and is a Maltese/Brussels Griffon estimated to be 3 years approx PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
