About URGENT - MATILDA

We need a rescue miracle for our fantastic friend, A5193175 Matilda. Matilda is a beautiful 2-year-old tan spayed female Pit Bull and German Shepherd mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from Covina last June 24th and has basically been in a shelter since then. Most recently, after spending six weeks at the posh Pasadena Humane Society having been picked up in Pasadena as a stray, she came back to Baldwin Park. She is deeply stressed and depressed from seven months behind bars. We have had communication with the household that had her before she came into the shelter and with both people who have adopted and returned her (both after a few days because of housing issues), and we know she is a great dog who keeps getting bad breaks. She is now available to LADACC Adoption Partners only. She needs a foster and a rescue! Please step up and give her the chance she deserves. Weighing 80 lbs, sweet Matilda is attentive and would love a family that could play and exercise with her. A striking dog, she has soft markings that seem to be part German Shepherd. She needs socializing with other dogs and is better around bigger dogs. Matilda can sit on command and could use training on leash. She is smart and would respond well to training, being both a skillful and eye-catching furry companion.
