Mechanicsburg, PA - a young male saint bernard mix was found by a truck driver when he pulled into a gas station and saw a person tying the dog to a pole and thought he was just running into the store. But the car took off leaving the dog. The guy waited to see if anyone would could back but no. So sad. Tired, scared and staving...... the truck driver brought him home and has been caring for him for the past month. But, the truck driver is on the road all the time and the wife has to take care of him and she can't as well as where they live, they can only have one dog. They called the rescue and asked for help. No idea of vet records, needs neutering and is fearful and barks, but sleep with the son in bed and is sweet once he trusts you. Fine with their dog but hates their cats.
