About Kaipo

Looking for an adventure buddy? Kaipo is your dog! He loves nothing more than going on a long hike, swimming for hours, climbing the jungle-gym to go down the slide, and greeting you when you get home. He is extremely human-focused and loves snuggling while you watch movies, or hanging out in the kitchen while you cook dinner. As Kaipo has gotten older, he has developed some fear-based aggression, and so is not good with kids or cats. He tends to get over-stimulated when playing with too many dogs, so is better off as the only pet in the house. He knows who his pack is, though, and will lick your face until you can't stand it anymore. We have done extensive training with him, and he has graduated from beginner obedience and impulse control training classes. If you have an active life-style, live somewhere with plenty of outdoor space, and are looking for a new best friend, Kaipo is the dog for you!
