About Wally

Adoption Fee: $50
Shih Tzu
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Wally is a special little guy and has been patiently waiting for his forever home. Wally had to have both of his eyes removed due to years of neglect. Although Wally is blind, he does great and doesn't let that stop him! Even with this disability, he gets around great and loves to be outside. When I open the back door and tell everyone it's time to go out, he's the first one to the door. There's nothing he loves more than laying in the sunshine! If you take him out about 3 times a day, he will potty outside every time. He easily finds his foster mom when he's called. The fact that he doesn't see isn't a big handicap for him. He likes toys and can find the toy box and get a toy to chew on. He does have something wrong with his back legs, but that doesn't bother him at all. Walley would make a good 'only' dog because he just kind of does his own thing most of the time. 1) prefers to do his business outside but will use a potty pad 2) has a habit of chewing on himself I don't think anything itches, I think it's just a habit. I keep a little T shirt on him so he doesn't chew on his back 3) likes a bath 4) likes to wander around outside 5) gets around extremely well outside and inside once he's learned the lay of the land 6) plays with one of my dogs but doesn't care for the rest 7) sleeps on a bed beside my bed 8) likes to ride in the car 9) doesn't bark much Since Wally is blind, he would do best in a home without small children. He is about 10 years old and 13 lbs. His adoption fee is $50 Wally just wants to be loved and to find the perfect forever home!
