About Dallas

Dallas is 6.5 years old. Dry sociable, Loves to walk, fetch ball 30-60 min daily, and borough in blankets to nap. Trained to fetch and stay, able to walk with owner off leash , comes when called. He gets a long with my female dog and dogs at the dog park. Loves to play and chase dogs his size. Dallas gets along with older children over 8 yrs. He grew up with my toddler daughter without issue but he will growl at a young child that pulls or kicks at him. He is a little grumpy when it comes to doing things he does not like.. like going to his house or moving off couch and will growl and let his displeasure known . No history of biting. Although Dallas gets along with other dogs and loves to play, he likes to be top dog. Must be separated from other dogs at mealtime not for aggression but because he will eat the other dogs food or anyone's food left out for that matter. Dallas is very sneaky when it comes to left out food. This dog is an inside dog and will whine until let inside. The reason I need to rehome is that I am busier and going back to work and am unable to give him the attention he needs. Also, as my other female dog and my daughter have gotten older, Dallas has become very territorial about his space marking areas that the female dog prefers and in my daughters room. For this reason, it may better if he is the only dog in the house
