Little Chance came to rescue from Texas where he was, just by chance, found dumped in a field. He was only 6 weeks old when he was found, but that wasn't his only problem. Chance was not only left out to be found by a coyote, he was covered in ticks and fleas. His rescuers rushed him to the local vet, again by chance, they had the equipment to start a blood transfusion. Little Chance was 80% depleted of blood due to the amount of critters on him and almost died. And again, just by chance, his rescuers love dogs and decided to help him by paying for his treatment and nursing him back to health. This took about 4 weeks and a lot of love to help Chance. By now you know why his name is Chance, and he is finally in Colorado looking for his furever home. He is healthy and a great little guy. He is now about 4 months old and about 3 pounds. We don't see Chance getting much bigger than he is now, which is tiny. He gets along with other dogs. He is still a bit wary of people, but if you give him about 3 days he will be following you everywhere wanting to know everything you are doing. He loves his humans and loves to snuggle and give kisses. Little Chance is a true rescue and the reason why rescue is so important, without it he would have died.
