About Dorothy

Dorothy is a 7-year-old yellow lab mix, who came to us with Honey, who is 1 year old. Both dogs were surrendered together. We are not sure if they are mother and daughter, but they are very close and are used to being together. The man of the house had an unfortunate accident and the family was unable to care for them properly and give them the time and exercise they need. We would like to see them adopted together as they seem to be bonded. They have spent a lot of their lives outdoors in a kennel. They have had some hunting experience. Dorothy is a sweet, energetic and happy girl. She has been spayed, tested negative for heartworm, has been dewormed and is up to date on all her shots. If both Dorothy and Honey are adopted together the adoption fee is reduced to $300 plus tax ($150 each).
