About Harley

I'm Harley, a four year old, 45 pound Australian Cattle Dog. I'm a young single male looking for a long term forever relationship. I may not be tall dark and handsome but I didn't lie about my age and weight. I'm kinda short but most humans think I'm cute, especially when I smile and move my ears. These things make me happy: Being with my human. I'm willing to train you to pet me the way I like and offer my belly for a rub at any time. Catch. I'm really good at playing catch. I like to play with other dogs who don't jump all over me and are nice. I especially like the ladies. Going for walks or runs. I'll be honest, sometimes I see something that excites me and I will try to hurry you up to get to it. Following my human all around the house. Chew toys and snuggles. A fenced yard to run and play. Car rides. I'm ready any time you are. These things make me (and everyone else sad): Cats, I poke my nose repeatedly (poke, poke, poke,) at them. They look like self-propelled squeaky toys. The cats are not amused. Small children. They scare me. Those things move fast and make lots of weird loud noises. They don't tend to respect my signals to leave me alone. I don't need a kennel. I'm perfectly house trained and you will find things just like you left when you get home. (There might be a dent in the couch cushion where I was sleeping). People who try to physically force me to do something that scares me. I have not had a lot of positive attention from humans in my short life. Now I know that many humans are kind but we need to build a relationship based on trust, not on you dominating me. I'll probably be ok doing whatever you want but I need to understand what it is you want and not be forced into doing something I don't understand.
