About Chewbacca (Chewy)

Chewy is a true Purebred Shiba Inu. Born in Okinawa, Japan, he joined our family as a puppy and came back to the US with us when he was three. Extremely affectionate with all members of the family regardless of age, he is steadfast, loyal and quietly reserved. He loves to play and will let you snuggle and pet him for hours. Not prone to barking, Chewy will seek a family member out for attention or stand by what he needs. Chewy was raised with another Shiba Inu near in age named Loki. These two do not have any issues with each other. Chewy does not have issues with other animals when on a leash for walks but shouldn't be brought into a home with other pets. Chewy also does not have an issue with most children, 10+, and we have never had an issue with our own children.
