About Gilda

Gilda is a young Rough Collie. She has a slight genetic abnormality in that her nose has an indent from birth. Two vets have been confident this is purely cosmetic. She's sweet, cuddly and wants to be with her people as much as possible. She's house trained, loves other dogs and gets along with cats as much as any herding dog does. We're looking for a home that can provide a lot of energy reducing possibilities such as herding or agility training. Gilda LOVES having a job and thrives on energy expenditure but as a single mom with two kids living in the city, I don't have the capacity to provide her with enough time. She's bored and it shows. She's extremely tender mouthed and has never bitten or even growled at a person but does jump when excited. We love her a lot and want to make sure she has the best possible life which after lots of time and thought, might not be our family. We're very sad about this but know that she deserves everything good and lovely in this world. She's a truly lovely puppy and we want to make sure she has her perfect home. She loves other dogs but with all of her energy can be frustrating for less enthused dog friends so another young dog or high energy friend would be ideal.
