About Lily

Hi! My name is Lily and I'm a 16 week old black lab mix puppy. I'm a typical puppy who likes to play, play, play! I hope that whomever adopts me has lots of time to spend with me and can teach me all the basic obedience that I will need. I love attention and being told I'm a good girl. I already know how to fetch, retrieve and sit. I like toys, but empty boxes seem to fascinate me. I like to chase them across the floor. Shoelaces are weird things on people feet that wriggle and flop around, so I like to pull on them sometimes. Hey, it's a puppy thing! I am also learning how to swim just like the big dogs. I'm really smart and pick up things quickly and I always look to my owner for cues so teaching me obedience should be a fun experience for both of us! The perfect family for me would be someone who can be home for part of the day to let me out for potty breaks and exercise. Although I like kids, young children under 10 might not understand that I am simply exploring things with my mouth right now and might get an ouchie when I bite down too hard. I'm sure I'll grow out of it, but right now I don't want to see any small children cry. I would love a nice big yard to play in and I don't mind doggie friends as long as they are playful, too. All of ALGBR's dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before they go home. Each dog receives a basic vet check, heartworm test and microchip, which is all included in the adoption fee.
